Andrew Rice - Shelter Insurance Agent

Past President

Andrew opened his small business in 2019 - and has worked hard to be involved with local service groups, Lexington businesses, and serving the residents of our community.

 

Cary Beal - Investor

Director

Cary Beal is a fixture throughout downtown Lexington - as an all day coffee drinker who pops in regularly to visit with local business owners. In addition to 30+ years with Armco Steel, he recently served a term on the Lexington City Council.

 

Monte Lauderdale - Retired Corporate Manager

Director

Monte Lauderdale knows Lexington. He spent over 30 years working for Dunbrooke Apparel Corporation - which was founded in Lexington - retiring as their Director of Operations. Today, he serves as an Executive Board Member for the The Wentworth Military Academy Museum.

 

Willa Beach - Former Manager, Trails Regional Library

President

Willa Beach recently retired as Manager of Trails Regional Library in Lexington - and is passionate about community events and projects. She will serve as Chamber President next year and looks forward to promoting strategic business planning for new and existing employers.

 

Rick Cottrell - Retired Executive Vice President, WMA

Director

Colonel Rick Cottrell is a native Oklahoman, but might as well be a Lexington native! After seven years in the Navy, Rick spent 31 years at Wentworth Military Academy, teaching business education, serving as Commandant, and retiring as the Executive Vice President.

Al “The Shopkeeper” Giuntoli - Investor

Director

Al "the Shopkeeper" Giuntoli previous owner of Sneak-A-Peek Antiques & Decor , is now an investor in several historic commercial buildings in downtown Lexington. He grew up in Lucca, Italy - but maintains the same high and tight haircut given to him by Uncle Sam upon enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. Al is passionate about ensuring an active and engaged business community throughout our city.

 

Valoree Maycock - Attorney at Law

Director

Valoree Maycock is a fifth generation Lexingtonian - and local Attorney at Law. She helps steer the board on local issues most concerning to businesses.

Bill Miller - Retired, Field Service Officer, General Motors

Comptroller 

Bill is in his second term on the chamber board.  He served four terms on the Lexington City Council. For the past 8 1/2 years he has served as the club manager at the Lexington VFW. 

 

Stephanie Schroeder - Manager, Lexington License Bureau

Director

Stephanie has worked in the Lexington License Office for 22 years, the last 10 years as manager. 

 

Whitnee Maycock - Medical Doctor - Ray County Hospital

President Elect

Family medicine fulfills her passion for preventive care through nutrition and wellness. She also works with patients diagnosed with chronic illnesses, helping them to achieve their optimal levels of health.

Christy Todd - Bookstore Owner- River Reader Books

Director

Christy and her husband, Clint, live in Lexington with their four children, Morgan, Lucas, Austin and Eleanor.  They’re active in Cub Scouts and community engagement. Christy and her parents are the new owners of River Reader Books.  Christy is working to expand programming at the bookstore and continue developing “reading” relationships with local organizations and the local area schools.

 

Nancy Fallman - Retired Teacher

Director

Nancy's love for Lexington has motivated her to join the Chamber board.  Nancy hopes to help merchants thrive while promoting Lexington's history.

Penny Grosso - Executive Director

Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce

Penny came to Lexington in 1973 to work for Mattingly Stores Company.  She volunteered many years in the community before accepting the position of chamber director in 2009.

Robyn Flanigan - Assistant Executive Director

Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce

Robyn Flanigan has served two terms as a Chamber Director.  As a Board Member, she was a significant proponent of the annual downtown Fall Scarecrow contest and business outreach.  In August of 2021, Robyn accepted the position of assistant director.
