17th   Waverly Irish Fest Sponsored by the Waverly Arts Council from 5-8 pm (Alcohol Free) Waverly Community Building – Music & Dinner

 

21st - Trinity United Church of Christ Good Friday Service - The sanctuary of Trinity UCC will be open from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. for a service of prayer and meditation as we reflect upon the crucified Christ and his gift of eternal life.  The service will take place in 20-minute intervals interspersed with 10-minute periods of quiet music during which worshippers may come and go.   (12:00 p.m .- 12:20 p.m.,  12:30 p.m. – 12:50 p.m.,  1:00 p.m. – 1:20 p.m., etc.)  This structure will allow local businesspeople and other members of the community to attend to their spiritual needs while meeting responsibilities of their workplaces. Trinity UCC is located at the corner of 14th and Franklin Streets.

15th –   Missouri River 340 Canoe/Kayak Race with over 100 participants.  Lexington is the first checkpoint in the race and we are expecting them to come in from 1 – 5 p.m.
